Where office IT and production systems converge, people with foresight are needed. This is exactly where you come in as a Microsoft 365 & Windows Server Engineer, ensuring a secure, modern infrastructure. Microsoft 365 (M365), networks, and virtualisation are part of your daily routine as well as exciting projects. You can expect a varied position with plenty of scope for creativity. Your ideas flow directly into the further development of the systems.
Responsibilities:
You care deeply about the security of the IT and OT landscape. You monitor the threat situation and derive appropriate measures.
You plan solutions around Microsoft 365, networks with Fortinet, Ubiquiti, and Cisco, as well as virtualisation, and ensure their stable operation.
Additionally, you operate Windows Server and clients including identity and access management.
You close security gaps, apply patches, and maintain specialised hardware such as office and label printers.
Furthermore, you evaluate new technologies, compare offers, and drive IT projects forward together with internal teams and external partners.
You also assist users in a solution-oriented manner, either remotely or directly at the workplace.
Qualifications:
The foundation is a vocational qualification as an IT specialist EFZ, preferably with a focus on platform development or system technology.
You have already gained practical experience in IT support or in system or application operations.
You feel at home in some of these areas: Cisco, VMware, Windows Server and client, Fortinet, and PowerShell.
You approach challenging problems with curiosity and persistence.
Moreover, you tackle tasks independently, keep an overview, and gladly take on responsibility.
Additionally, you think outside the box, see yourself as a service provider, and communicate confidently in German both orally and in writing.
