Director of Human Resources (m/f) 100%

for our client, one of the most significant and versatile hotel and catering businesses, we are immediately seeking an HR Director 100% (m/f/d).

Responsibilities:

• Strategic & operational HR management: Overall responsibility for the HR department, all personnel processes as well as the continuous optimisation and digitalisation of workflows.
• Employee Lifecycle: Responsibility for personnel planning, recruiting, support, development and the exit process.
• Payroll & Budgeting: Independent monthly payroll processing including mutations, interface to financial accounting as well as preparation of the personnel budget and monthly forecasts.
• Consulting & Law: Advising management and executives on all HR and labour law issues; ensuring compliance with Swiss labour law, social security law and the L-GAV.
• Administration & Compliance: Checking duty rosters for L-GAV compliance, coordinating annual leave planning, processing withholding tax and verifying work and residence permits (including third countries).
• Regulations & Network: Maintaining and further developing personnel regulations, job descriptions and guidelines; building and maintaining networks with authorities, schools, recruitment agencies and insurance companies (including GastroSocial).

• Professional experience: Several years of experience in a comparable HR management position, preferably from the Swiss hotel or catering industry.
  
• Expertise: Sound knowledge of Swiss labour and social security law as well as in-depth knowledge of the L-GAV.
  
• Practical knowledge: Proven experience in independent payroll processing, permit clarification (including third countries) and withholding tax.
  
• Systems & Qualification: Experience with industry software. Further training as an HR specialist with a federal certificate of competence is an advantage; training as a federal vocational trainer.
  
• Languages: Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
  
• Personality: Strong assertiveness combined with tact, a structured and precise way of working as well as a natural, credible appearance.
