Automation Software Engineer 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• You develop, simulate and test the software for our complex machines - from drive and control technology to visualisation and interfaces to higher-level systems

• In our small, interdisciplinary team, you actively shape the further development of our machine software, directly influence the mechanical and electrical design, and develop customer-specific solutions from concept to documentation

• Good knowledge of PLC programming allows you to reliably implement and further develop demanding functions

• Independently and punctually providing the machine software - and partly the associated hardware - is part of your responsibilities, as is implementing customer-specific adaptations including complete documentation

• You are the technical contact person, handle service requests and support our assembly department, both internally and externally, during commissioning and complex conversions

What do I need to be successful?

• You have successfully completed technical training in electrical engineering, automation, systems engineering or mechatronics (HF/FH)

• Ideally, you bring experience in programming B&R systems

• You approach your tasks analytically, logically and goal-oriented

• You enjoy using your good English skills in everyday work

• You are happy to spend about 10% of your working time travelling abroad
