Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 90,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional in finance and accounting for a versatile role with responsibility in the general ledger, subsidiary ledgers and central financial processes. The company operates in the public sector and offers a structured working environment with challenging tasks in accounting, payment transactions and accounts payable management.
Responsibilities:
Support in the proper management of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers
Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
Co-responsibility for the operation and further development of the accounts payable workflow
Support and advice to internal departments on accounting and accounts payable process questions
Processing and reconciliation of accounts and business transactions
Execution of tasks in payment and banking transactions
Support with VAT returns and financial clarifications
Qualifications:
Completed commercial apprenticeship with a federal certificate of proficiency (EFZ)
Further training in finance and accounting, for example accounting clerk or fiduciary
Several years of professional experience in operational accounting
Good knowledge of banking and payment transactions
Knowledge in the area of VAT is an advantage
