Role:
Cloud architecture with ambition: We are looking for an experienced individual who not only operates Azure environments but also strategically develops them further. The focus is on scalable platforms, automated deployments, cloud security, and modern DevOps practices. A position for specialists who take on technical responsibility and confidently manage complex cloud topics.
Responsibilities:
Architecture and continuous optimisation of modern Microsoft Azure platforms
Development of scalable cloud solutions focusing on availability, performance, and operational reliability
Establishment of automated deployment processes with Infrastructure as Code
Implementation of cloud infrastructures with Bicep and Terraform
Development and optimisation of modern CI/CD processes with Azure DevOps and GitHub
Operation of containerised platforms based on Docker and Kubernetes
Further development of Azure Kubernetes Service, messaging, and database platforms
Integration of modern platform components such as API gateways and workflow engines
Design and implementation of cloud security architectures
Optimisation of identity & access management, network segmentation, and security monitoring
Establishment of DevSecOps principles throughout the entire software lifecycle
Development of monitoring, logging, and observability concepts
Definition of technical standards, governance requirements, and cloud operating models
Analysis and resolution of complex technical issues at 3rd-level support
Technical consulting for cloud transformations and modernisation projects
Conducting architecture workshops and technical enablement sessions
Support in developing technical solution concepts for demanding customer projects
Collaboration with software development, architecture, security, and product teams in agile structures
Qualifications:
Several years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, or cloud architecture
Very good practical knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform
Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Bicep and Terraform
Confident handling of CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps toolchains
Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, ideally Azure Kubernetes Service
Good knowledge of Linux and Bash
Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
Understanding of modern network architectures and cloud connectivity
In-depth knowledge of cloud security, IAM, zero-trust concepts, and network segmentation
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability
Programming or scripting experience with Python, .NET, Java, or comparable technologies
Understanding of modern API architectures and integration platforms
Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills
Independent working style and enthusiasm for technical responsibility
Confident appearance in communication with technical and non-technical contacts
Passion for new cloud technologies and continuous technical development
