Production Planner 80-100% (m/f/d)

The company develops and sells high-quality products and systems that are used worldwide in clinics and medical facilities.

Role:
To strengthen the supply chain area, an additional position in production planning is being created. In this role, you translate overarching planning specifications into realistic and feasible production plans, ensuring coordination between capacities, material availability, and delivery dates. You work closely with production and various internal departments and serve as an important interface to the central planning team. At the same time, you actively contribute to the further development and optimisation of existing planning processes.
Responsibilities:
You create and update production plans on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
You check available capacities, personnel resources, and material stocks and respond early to potential bottlenecks
You convert central planning specifications into realistic production programmes and ensure their correct representation in the ERP system
You regularly coordinate production possibilities, capacities, and necessary plan adjustments with the central planning team
You coordinate closely with production, material planning, engineering, and other relevant interfaces
You analyse deviations and support the derivation of suitable measures to ensure delivery capability
You optimise existing planning processes with regard to inventories, capacity utilisation, and efficient production workflows
Qualifications:
Professional experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or a comparable function in a manufacturing company
Alternatively, practical production experience with responsibility for capacity, personnel, or shift planning
Degree or further education in supply chain management, logistics, operations, industrial engineering, or a comparable field
Good understanding of production processes, material flows, capacity planning, and interrelations within the supply chain
Confident handling of an ERP system, ideally SAP
Very good Excel skills as well as confident use of common MS Office applications
Very good German skills and English skills at least at level B2
Analytical and structured working style as well as a good understanding of numbers and complex planning contexts
Experience in a regulated production environment, for example in medical technology, is an advantage
