Role:
As a Lead System Engineer, you take on a central role in the implementation, support and further development of modern IT infrastructures for our customers. You work in demanding project and operational environments and act as the Lead System Engineer, the technical contact person for defined customer environments.
Responsibilities:
Implementation and deployment of IT solutions in customer projects as well as in ongoing IT operations
Technical support of customers as Lead System Engineer with responsibility for assigned systems and environments
Ensuring standardised system configurations, operational stability and sustainable IT standards
Conducting fault analyses, troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
Creating, maintaining and further developing technical documentation
Supporting requirements analysis, technical consulting and solution design
Qualifications:
You have a completed IT education in the field of system technology, platform development or a comparable qualification.
You bring at least 10 years of professional experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role.
You have solid knowledge of IT infrastructures and enterprise environments.
You have experience with technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft 365, VMware virtualisation, storage or Veeam Backup & Data Protection.
You are familiar with troubleshooting, system engineering, technical documentation and solution designs.
You have very good German skills as well as good English skills.
