IT Team Leader (m/f) - 80-100 %

Our client

Our client is a well-established public utility company in the Biel region, active in critical infrastructures. It is evolving its IT organisation towards a hybrid, standardised, and service-oriented model. In this context, it is looking for a manager capable of ensuring operational stability while driving this transformation.

Your tasks

• Lead, structure and develop an internal IT team with a service-oriented culture.
• Ensure the availability, performance and security of the infrastructure, systems and IT services.
• Supervise the portfolio of business applications, in coordination with IT Product Owners and external partners.
• Manage providers and outsourced services (contracts, SLAs, budgets), ensuring quality and cost control.
• Drive IT projects from design to deployment.
• Ensure governance, continuity and evolution of the information system, in connection with security, data and IT strategy.

Your profile

• Education in computer science or business informatics (CFC, ES, HES or equivalent). Additional training in ITSM, governance or project management is a plus.
• Several years of experience in a responsible position in IT Operations, ideally in a complex or regulated environment, including proven team leadership experience.
• Strong experience in managing providers, outsourcing, SLAs, budgets and IT projects.
• Good technical knowledge: hybrid infrastructures, Microsoft 365/Azure, networks, IAM, backup, cybersecurity and business applications.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and decision-making skills, structured and pragmatic mindset. An ITIL certification is an advantage.
• Native French or German speaker, with good command of the other language. Technical English.
