As an IT Support Specialist, you are the central point of contact for employees with technical questions and ensure the reliable operation of IT workstations. You support users with faults, manage the client infrastructure, and ensure efficient resolution of technical challenges. You work closely with various departments and actively contribute your knowledge to the further development of the IT environment. Through your structured working method and solution-oriented thinking, you significantly contribute to a modern and high-performance IT infrastructure. You take responsibility for hardware, software, and the ongoing optimisation of the systems used.
Responsibilities:
Receiving, analysing, and resolving faults and technical problems in the IT environment
Supporting and assisting users with all IT-related questions
Installing, configuring, and maintaining clients including hardware and software components
Administering and managing the Active Directory environment
Evaluating, procuring, and implementing suitable IT systems, hardware, and software solutions
Managing and maintaining the IT inventory and ensuring up-to-date documentation
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training EFZ as an IT specialist or a comparable IT qualification
Several years of professional experience in the field of IT, ideally in IT support
Very good knowledge of current information technologies and the Windows environment
Experience in planning, evaluating, and implementing hardware and software solutions in client/server environments
Very good German language skills as well as French language skills
