We are currently looking for a Senior Packaging Engineer to join a dynamic Product Technology & Engineering team based in Münchwilen (TG), Switzerland. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative, sustainable and compliant packaging solutions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on international projects.

Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Developing innovative and cost-effective packaging solutions.
• Leading packaging development activities from concept through industrial implementation.
• Translating design requirements into technically robust packaging concepts.
• Managing packaging qualification and validation activities.
• Ensuring compliance with international packaging regulations and dangerous goods transportation requirements.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality and Procurement.
• Managing supplier interactions, evaluating quotations and monitoring project budgets.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and driving innovation within packaging technologies.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in Packaging Development within an industrial environment.
• Previous involvement in packaging development projects.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes and qualification activities.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within multidisciplinary international teams.
• Fluent English (C1 minimum).
• German is considered an asset.
