Logistics Operations Officer Transport Specialist (M/F) 100%

We are looking for a supply chain profile with proven experience in the field for a fixed-term temporary assignment: about the position:

Reporting to the head of the department, you manage the end-to-end transportation of goods nationally and internationally. Acting as a true conductor, you secure the shipment flow, supervise regulatory formalities and ensure strict compliance with delivery deadlines.

Job description:

• Transport management & quotations: Consult freight providers, analyse tariff offers and coordinate operations with national and international carrier networks, coordination with freight forwarders.

• Operational & event monitoring: Monitor the smooth running of deliveries. Handle complex logistics related to trade shows, express convoys and specific shipments.

• Customs compliance & import-export: Prepare and check all regulatory documentation (import/export, customs) and manage the procedure for required import and export documents (ATA carnets).

• Internal & field fleet management: Organise the scheduling of the internal transport vehicle (collections/deliveries)

• Internal synergy & activity monitoring: Work closely with internal departments, participate in coordination meetings and anticipate potential transport disruptions.

• Quality & Improvement: Participate in optimising logistics procedures while strictly adhering to current safety and quality rules, continuous improvement

Profile sought:

• Background: Degree in higher education in Logistics, International Trade or Transport, supported by at least 3 years of field experience in a similar position.

• Proven mastery of customs procedures, shipping documents and the operation of ATA carnets.

• Strong experience in managing freight forwarders and negotiating transport services.

• Fluent use of management tools (ERP) and office software.

• Languages: Operational proficiency in French and English (German is an additional asset).

• Personal qualities: Methodical rigour, strong organisational skills, initiative, pragmatism and excellent stress and priority management

• Continuous improvement and solutions oriented

• Excellent communication skills, good team spirit, hands-on approach
