Linux Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
The focus of this position is the professional operation and further development of an extensive Linux infrastructure. The emphasis is on RHEL and SUSE as well as automation, container technologies, and reliable platform operation.
Responsibilities:
Operation and further development of the Linux infrastructure based on RHEL and SUSE
Administration and optimisation of systems in the engineering and operations environment
Automation of processes with Red Hat Satellite, Ansible Automation Platform, and SUSE Manager
Operation and further development of the Rancher Kubernetes Engine
Ensuring stable and efficient operation of the infrastructure
Collaboration in the twelve-member system engineering team
Taking on periodic on-call duties within system engineering
Qualifications:
Professional experience in Linux engineering and operations
Confident handling of the Linux command line
Experience or strong interest in Kubernetes and cloud technologies
Analytical and solution-oriented approach
Clear and constructive communication
Willingness for continuous professional development
Driving licence category B is an advantage
Fluent German and good English skills
