- Migration of virtualised workplaces based on Omnissa Horizon
- Setup, configuration, and migration of virtual server and client environments
- Migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 including testing and rollout
- Migration of users, data, permissions as well as Active Directory and GPO structures
- Configuration of networks, firewall rules, and security solutions with Sophos
- Coordination of the migration of specialised applications with customers and software manufacturers
- Technical responsibility for migration projects from analysis to productive commissioning
- Further training as an ICT Platform Development Specialist with a federal certificate or a diploma in computer science HF is an advantage
- Several years of experience as an IT System Engineer focusing on infrastructure, virtualisation, and workplace
- Sound knowledge of VMware, vCloud, Omnissa Horizon, and DEM
- Very good knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 11, Active Directory, and GPO
- Experience with server, client, and infrastructure migrations
- Confident handling of Sophos firewalls as well as network and security topics
- Experience in technical project coordination with customers and software manufacturers
- Fluent German skills (C2) as well as very good English skills (B2)
- Possession of a category B driving licence
- 5 weeks holiday

Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of complete customer migrations in virtualised data centre and cloud environments- Migration of virtualised workplaces based on Omnissa Horizon
- Setup, configuration, and migration of virtual server and client environments
- Migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 including testing and rollout
- Migration of users, data, permissions as well as Active Directory and GPO structures
- Configuration of networks, firewall rules, and security solutions with Sophos
- Coordination of the migration of specialised applications with customers and software manufacturers
- Technical responsibility for migration projects from analysis to productive commissioning
Profile
- Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ specialising in platform development/system technology- Further training as an ICT Platform Development Specialist with a federal certificate or a diploma in computer science HF is an advantage
- Several years of experience as an IT System Engineer focusing on infrastructure, virtualisation, and workplace
- Sound knowledge of VMware, vCloud, Omnissa Horizon, and DEM
- Very good knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 11, Active Directory, and GPO
- Experience with server, client, and infrastructure migrations
- Confident handling of Sophos firewalls as well as network and security topics
