Role:
Resolving technical faults, implementing projects, and truly mastering a specialist area: that is exactly what this position is about. As an IT System Engineer Client & Server, you support customer environments around Microsoft 365, server and client systems. The mix of consulting, analysis, and implementation ensures that no day is like the other. For selected products, you take on the technical responsibility at the third level.
Responsibilities:
You receive faults and user queries and resolve them by phone or directly at the customer site.
As the technical authority at 3rd level, you are responsible for one or more products.
You approach complex error patterns systematically and develop appropriate solutions.
You install and configure Windows Server as well as client systems and commission them.
Additionally, you participate in customer projects, from the initial clarification to stable operation.
You also document configurations and operating instructions comprehensibly.
Qualifications:
You have completed IT training or have been supporting IT systems in support for several years.
You have broad knowledge in the Microsoft environment, including Exchange and SQL Server.
Virtualisation with VMware is part of your skill set.
You quickly grasp complex issues and keep an overview.
You present yourself in customer contact as straightforward, reliable, and flexible.
Furthermore, you communicate confidently in German both orally and in writing and read technical English with ease.
