With its 24,000 inhabitants, the City of Nyon is among the most dynamic cities in Switzerland in terms of development. Numerous park and landscaping projects will be launched in the coming years, necessarily expanding the team of field collaborators.
In this perspective, the Environment Service is looking for a:
Team Leader at 100%
Your main tasks:
You ensure the organisation and coordination of the maintenance of green spaces in a sector of the City of Nyon, supervising a field team that you support daily. Mostly present on site, you guarantee the quality of interventions, compliance with safety rules, and the proper distribution of tasks. You actively contribute to the development of sustainable practices promoting biodiversity, in accordance with the requirements of the Swiss Green City Label, while ensuring operational liaison with the operations manager, the Directorate, and the relevant partners.
Your profile:
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a landscape horticulturist (federal certificate: an advantage).
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- You have solid experience in team leadership and work planning.
- You possess good knowledge of differentiated maintenance, plants, biodiversity, and safety.
- You are recognised for your rigour, organisational skills, collaborative spirit, and interpersonal skills.
- Category B driving licence required.
Start date: immediately or to be agreed.
