Apprentice horticulturist specialising in landscaping

For the 2027 intake, we are looking for a:

The assigned tasks are as follows:

• prepare surfaces for planting or sowing
• arrange flower beds, borders, rock gardens or lawns in the designated locations by selecting suitable species, so as to create a harmonious whole both in shape and colour.
• plant, prune and uproot trees, shrubs and hedges
• clean, weed and water the plantings
• mow and clear undergrowth from grassed areas
• participate in seasonal or event decorations according to instructions
• maintain, based on instructions, street furniture and playgrounds
• undertake small earthworks using machinery
• maintain the machines and equipment entrusted such as lawnmower, rototiller, tools according to instructions.

Required criteria:

• compulsory schooling successfully completed before the 2027 intake
• good practical and manual skills
• good physical constitution and ability to adapt to weather conditions
• no vertigo and no pollen allergies
• interest in plants and good memory (for learning their Latin names)
• team spirit
• observational skills.
