The Human Resources Department of the city of Yverdon-les-Bains is recruiting, for the Mobility, Environment and Sustainability Service, an:
Apprentice horticulturist in plant production
for the August 2027 intake
The main tasks you will be trained in:
- Production of annuals, biennials, perennials, flowering plants, green plants and cut flowers;
- Various specific tasks related to the profession, such as: propagation, transplanting, potting, placement, staking, pinching and pruning, chemical and biological plant protection as well as various irrigation systems;
- Outdoor and indoor maintenance, planting, floral decorations and bouquets.
Your profile:
- You have taken the necessary steps to choose your future profession and have decided to join the world of business.
- You demonstrate a desire to learn, communication skills and team spirit.
- With good physical condition, you are motivated to work both under shelters or greenhouses during winter, and outdoors during the fine season.
