In a versatile environment, IT and production technology meet directly. As an IT System Engineer (Windows Server & Microsoft Cloud), you keep both worlds stable, secure, and future-proof. Your daily routine ranges from server maintenance to cloud solutions with Microsoft 365 to your own projects. Here you help shape rather than just manage. Short distances and a lot of personal responsibility characterise your work.
Responsibilities:
You operate and install Windows Servers as well as clients and take care of access and identity management.
Furthermore, you are responsible for vulnerability and patch management for IT and OT systems.
You advise on solutions in Microsoft Cloud, networking, virtualisation with VMware, and license management, implement them, and operate them.
You evaluate new technologies, obtain offers, and assess them thoroughly.
In addition, you plan, coordinate, and realise internal and external IT projects.
You also further develop IT security, maintain specialised hardware, and support users remotely and on-site.
Qualifications:
You have training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally in system technology or platform development.
You bring professional experience from IT support, system, or application operations.
You are familiar with several of these areas: PowerShell, Cisco, Windows Client and Server, VMware, and Fortinet.
Complex technical tasks appeal to you, and you like to think in networks.
You work in a structured, independent, and responsible manner.
Additionally, you convince with initiative, genuine service orientation, and confident German in spoken and written form.
