VMware System Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
As a VMware System Engineer, you ensure that demanding IT environments run stably at SME clients. You take on technical responsibility, plan migrations, and independently implement projects. The mix of remote support and on-site assignments makes the daily work varied. A well-coordinated team supports you.
Responsibilities:
You support, monitor, and maintain customer systems remotely as well as on-site
You plan and implement migrations of hardware and software infrastructures
Furthermore, you carry out system migrations in the areas of storage, virtualisation, as well as backup and restore
You independently design and implement customer projects in the SME environment
Additionally, you share responsibility for the smooth operation of customer solutions
You also develop technical specifications and create system documentation
Qualifications:
You have completed training in IT systems engineering and ideally further education at HF or FH level
You bring very good experience with Microsoft and VMware server environments
Several years of practice with storage and backup systems are part of your skill set
You enjoy telephone and remote support, mainly in German; other national languages or English are a plus
Furthermore, you work analytically, conceptually strong, and with a high degree of personal responsibility
You also enjoy visiting customers and hold a driving licence
