Software Developer for PLC Controls (m/f/d)

The engineering company plans and builds systems for recycling firms, printing companies, financial institutions, packaging producers and logistics centres. The focus is on recyclable materials such as paper, cardboard, films, PET and refuse. The team works project-based, technically demanding and customer-oriented. As a PLC software developer, you are responsible for the conception, specification, implementation and testing of software solutions for machine controls. The focus is on developing control software for B&R systems. You work with model-based, graphical development tools such as Actif Source and Eclipse and support the further development and maintenance of software components.
Responsibilities:
- Software Development: Design, specification, implementation and testing of software solutions for machine controls (B&R system)
- Model-Based Development: Use of Actif Source/Eclipse for model-based, graphical software development
- Maintenance and Further Development: Support and continuous improvement of software components
- Collaboration: Close cooperation with product management, customer service and assembly to understand requirements and implement solutions
Qualifications:
- Education: Completed degree (FH) in automation, computer science, electrical or systems engineering
- Experience: Practical experience in software engineering, especially in drive and control technology
- Passion: Enthusiasm for mechatronic systems and automation technologies
- Teamwork: Flexibility and openness for interdisciplinary collaboration
- Languages: Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
