An internationally oriented industrial company is seeking a technically skilled individual to take responsibility for a modern hybrid IT infrastructure. The position combines classic system engineering tasks with cloud technologies, IT projects, and the continuous development of the system landscape.
You can expect a dynamic environment with short decision-making paths, modern technologies, and plenty of room for initiative. In addition to operating the infrastructure, you can actively participate in projects, evaluate new solutions, and sustainably optimise existing processes.
Responsibilities:
Operation and continuous development of a hybrid IT infrastructure with on-premises and cloud components
Administration and lifecycle management of Windows and Linux servers as well as virtual system environments
Planning and implementation of IT projects as well as evaluation of new technologies and solution approaches
Support and optimisation of network components such as firewalls, VPN, routing, switching, and WLAN
Collaboration in the further development of Azure and Microsoft 365 services
Implementation and further development of security measures, system hardening, and monitoring
Qualifications:
Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or comparable IT further education with relevant professional experience
Several years of experience in system engineering with a focus on server, network, and infrastructure technologies
Good knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualisation
Experience with network and security technologies such as routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, and WLAN
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a pronounced hands-on mentality
Very good German skills as well as good English skills and enjoyment of teamwork
