CI/CD & Build Engineer (m/f/d)

For a technically demanding development environment, an experienced professional is sought who actively advances build, test, and release processes and ensures stable and reproducible workflows. The focus is on modern CI/CD workflows, Linux-based build environments, and automation of development processes.
You will work closely with software, C++, and embedded developers and remove technical obstacles throughout the entire development and release process. In doing so, you pragmatically improve existing systems and continuously develop the engineering infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Further development and stabilisation of CI/CD workflows and automated build, test, and deployment pipelines
Optimisation of reproducible builds and dependency management for C++ projects
Operation of containerised build and test environments with Docker or Podman
Further development of automated tests from unit tests to hardware-near system tests
Optimisation of release automation, artefact management, versioning, and traceability
Close collaboration with C++ and embedded teams as well as documentation of workflows, conventions, and technical decisions
Qualifications:
Solid experience with CI/CD, build automation, and Git-based development processes
Very good Linux knowledge in build environments, containerisation, scripting, and system tools
Experience with C++ build processes and dependency management, ideally with Conan
Good understanding of reproducible builds, stable toolchains, dependency pinning, and artefact management
Good skills in Bash, Python, or comparable scripting languages as well as experience with Docker or Podman
Structured and pragmatic working style, strong problem-solving skills, and good communication skills in German and English
