Export Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to combine your experience in international goods traffic with a leadership role? In this position, you will lead an export team, ensure smooth operations and develop existing processes together with your employees.
Responsibilities:
You will lead your export team both professionally and personally, promote the employees and coordinate organisational tasks.
You will ensure timely international shipping processing and check the required export documents.
You will be the contact person for customs and foreign trade issues and oversee the handling of imports and returns.
You will optimise internal export processes and system applications and support the professional exchange of knowledge within the team.
You will coordinate collaboration with internal departments and external business partners and ensure correct master data.
You will monitor compliance with quality, cost and deadline requirements and initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations.
You will manage technical documentation and ensure compliance with internal quality and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with a Federal VET Diploma, supplemented by further training in export or foreign trade, for example as a foreign trade specialist with a federal certificate.
You bring at least five years of professional experience in an international business environment and sound knowledge in export processing.
You are confident in using SAP and MS Office and have very good SAP user skills.
You impress with initiative, leadership skills, communication ability, reliability as well as an independent, structured and resilient working style.
You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.
