Responsibilities:
You develop and operate container platforms based on Rancher and Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
You are responsible for Linux infrastructures, especially based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and ensure stable production operation.
You analyse and resolve complex faults within the scope of second- and third-level support.
You accompany demanding on-premises and Azure projects and advise customers on technical challenges.
You design, document, and optimise infrastructure services and automate recurring processes.
You consider security requirements, established standards, and the long-term development of the platforms.
You support your team as a technical contact person and develop scalable solutions for growing customer environments.
Qualifications:
You have a higher education in computer science or several years of professional experience in Linux or infrastructure engineering and Kubernetes.
You have experience in at least one of the areas of automation, container platforms, reverse proxy/WAF, backup and restore, logging, or storage.
You possess a strong understanding of IT security and security-relevant aspects in infrastructure operations.
You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and enjoy continuous improvement.
You communicate confidently with customers, enjoy working in a team, and share your technical knowledge.
You have very good German language skills.
