Role:

Technical know-how. Responsibility. Challenging IT projects. You are familiar with modern IT infrastructures from practice and want to take on the management of exciting technology projects in addition to engineering? In this position, you combine solid expertise in server, cloud, and network technologies with organisational skills. You develop powerful IT landscapes, implement innovative solutions, and accompany projects from technical conception to successful operation.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementation of demanding IT infrastructure projects focusing on servers, cloud, and networks

• Technical conception, implementation, and further development of modern IT system landscapes

• Responsibility for project planning, resource coordination, deadlines, and technical quality

• Building and optimisation of hybrid IT environments with local systems and cloud platforms

• Administration and further development of Windows server environments, virtualisation, and central infrastructure services

• Conception and implementation of modern network architectures, security solutions, and cross-site connections

• Automation of recurring operational processes with PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code

• Analysis of complex technical faults and development of sustainable solutions

• Coordination of IT specialists, external service providers, and other project participants

• Support of migrations, system modernisations, and technological renewals

• Optimisation of monitoring, backup, high availability, and disaster recovery

• Documentation of technical solutions and ensuring sustainable operational handover

Qualifications:

• Several years of professional experience in system engineering or IT infrastructure

• Solid knowledge of server technologies, virtualisation, cloud, and networks

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, or comparable cloud platforms

• Good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID

• Understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and IT security

• Experience in technical leadership or coordination of IT projects

• Knowledge of PowerShell, automation, and Infrastructure as Code is an advantage

• Analytical thinking and ability to solve complex technical challenges in a structured manner

• Independent, solution-oriented working style and strong sense of responsibility
