Marketing and Communications Director M/F

For a high-end establishment in Valais, we are looking for a:

As Sales & Marketing Director, you will play a strategic role in developing the visibility and commercial performance of the establishment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will notably be responsible for:

• Developing sales by creating and consolidating a network of leisure clients, companies, travel agencies, tour operators and event organisers.
• Developing and implementing a commercial strategy that favours direct bookings and reduces dependence on booking platforms.
• Designing attractive digital marketing offers for groups, seminars, private events and seasonal stays.
• Managing the digital marketing strategy and social media to strengthen the establishment’s reputation and generate bookings.
• Supervising website referencing, digital advertising campaigns and performance monitoring (traffic, conversion, return on investment).
• Developing press relations and partnerships with media, influencers and tourism stakeholders to increase the establishment’s visibility.
• Participating in defining pricing strategy and revenue management in collaboration with management to optimise turnover and profitability.
• Ensuring a coherent commercial strategy and enhancing the customer experience by collaborating with various teams.

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar role within a high-end establishment.
• Strong expertise in commercial marketing development.
• Excellent network or ability to develop relationships with media, travel agencies, companies and event organisers.
• A person who is both strategic, operational and results-oriented, capable of managing several projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; French and English required.
