Senior Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Development and programming of PLC controls (e.g. Siemens, Beckhoff, CODESYS) for industrial automation projects
- Creation of technical specifications, requirements documents and concepts for automation solutions
- Integration of controls, sensors and actuators into automated systems and machines
- Commissioning, testing and optimisation of control systems on site at the customer
- Collaboration with customers to understand their requirements and develop individual solutions
- Troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of automation issues
- Training customers and employees in the use of PLC systems
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology or comparable qualification
- Practical experience in programming PLC controls (e.g. Siemens S7, Beckhoff TwinCAT, CODESYS)
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g. OPC UA, Modbus)
- Solution-oriented thinking and ability for systematic troubleshooting
- Good German language skills, both spoken and written
