Role:
Are you looking for a position where security is not an afterthought? As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you shape a cloud platform based on Microsoft Azure and consider identity, network, and protection mechanisms together from the start. You describe your infrastructure as code and deploy it reproducibly. Professionally, you are the first point of contact for many teams. Here, technical depth and clear concepts matter more than quick workarounds.
Responsibilities:
You develop network and zero-trust concepts as well as landing zones and reliably maintain them in daily operations.
With Terraform and your own scripts, you automate deployments and drive platform engineering forward.
You ensure that security and compliance requirements are met, for example with Defender for Cloud, well-thought-out role concepts (RBAC), and identity protection.
Furthermore, you design secure cloud architectures with a clear focus on network design.
You are responsible for building and continuously developing the platform and keeping its operation stable.
Additionally, you support other teams during onboarding and advise them on architectural questions.
Qualifications:
Your first choice is IaC: you confidently use Infrastructure as Code and are familiar with the daily work in a DevOps or cloud engineering environment.
You have several years of practical experience in Azure, ideally with a focus on network and security.
You bring a basic education as an IT specialist EFZ, a degree from a HF or FH, or a comparable background.
In addition, you have solid knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Azure security services, and processes related to a Security Operations Center (SOC).
You have already effectively secured cloud environments, especially in the areas of IAM, monitoring, network, and compliance.
You also understand modern operating models and cloud architectures, and a certification such as Azure Security Engineer Associate or Azure Administrator is a clear advantage.
