Strategic Technical Buyer (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to apply your experience in strategic purchasing and actively shape international procurement? In this position, you take responsibility for selected product groups, develop supplier partnerships, and ensure economic material supply together with internal departments.
Responsibilities:
You analyse international procurement markets and identify new suppliers as well as alternative sources.
You are responsible for the strategic and operational procurement of selected material groups and develop corresponding purchasing concepts.
You conduct price and contract negotiations and optimise existing procurement conditions.
You accompany the selection and qualification of new suppliers and support their audits.
Together with planning and quality management, you ensure material availability and coordinate measures in case of supply shortages.
You lead or support projects for cost optimisation and reduction of delivery times.
You take care of maintaining purchasing data and resolving invoice discrepancies.
Qualifications:
You have a university or university of applied sciences degree in business administration or industrial engineering.
You bring several years of experience in strategic or technical purchasing in an industrial company.
You are familiar with technical procurement markets, for example in mechanical engineering, the automotive industry, or medical technology.
You have already developed product group strategies and professionally managed supplier relationships.
You are proficient in SAP R/3 or S/4HANA as well as MS Office.
You convince with negotiation skills, communication strength, assertiveness, analytical thinking, and a structured and economically oriented working style.
You are fluent in German and English at a negotiation level.
You are willing to travel about 10% of the time.
