Hybrid IT landscapes, cloud technologies and automated operating models fascinate you? In this role, you combine classic enterprise infrastructure with modern cloud approaches and shape technical changes from the initial idea to stable operation.
Responsibilities:
Design and modernisation of a hybrid Microsoft infrastructure
Development of robust platforms for virtualisation, cloud and central IT services
Implementation of technical projects from architecture through implementation to migration
Operation and optimisation of VMware-based platforms
Further development of Windows Server, Active Directory and Azure services
Integration of Entra ID into modern identity and access models
Design of resilient backup, restore and disaster recovery strategies
Technical advancement of the Veeam platform including cloud integration
Support of modern messaging and collaboration infrastructures
Automation of operational processes with PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code approaches
Support of cloud migrations and technological renewals
Identification of optimisation potentials regarding performance, availability, security and operating costs
Structured documentation of system landscapes, changes and technical standards
Prospective assumption of specialist responsibility and coordination of technical topics
Qualifications:
Training as an IT specialist EFZ, ideally with a focus on platform development or system technology
Several years of experience as a system engineer, infrastructure engineer, cloud engineer or in a comparable role
Very good knowledge of Microsoft and virtualisation environments
Experience with VMware, Azure, Active Directory and backup technologies
Solid practical experience with Veeam or comparable enterprise backup solutions
Enjoyment of automation, technical projects and modern infrastructure concepts
Independent and solution-oriented working style
High quality standards and interest in continuous professional development
Motivation to take on more technical responsibility in the long term
