Role:
For the well-established IT operations team, we are looking for an initiative-taking and implementation-strong system engineer with the opportunity to undertake interesting and diverse engineering functions within client-server, network and software management as well as in release and patch management.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse and optimise existing IT infrastructure (servers, network, storage, firewall)
- Connection and support of branch offices/subsidiaries (worldwide)
- Support of backup system VEEAM
- Integration of possible peripheral systems
- Configuration, administration of the server landscape
- Leadership or support in IT projects
- Update management and further development of the existing IT landscape
- 2nd and 3rd level support
Qualifications:
- You have completed training as an IT specialist in system technology (EFZ, HF or FH) and have several years of professional experience as a system engineer
- Desirable Microsoft certifications (MCSE, MCSA and others)
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment
- Know-how in PowerShell, Microsoft Cloud/Azure, Hyper-V
- High technical affinity and interest in dealing with different technologies and IT systems
- Strong team spirit and cooperation in the IT DevOps team
- Languages: German / English
