Role:
Are you ready for a new challenge in financial accounting? This Rocken partner is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant 80-100% (m/f/d) to strengthen the team. In this role, you can apply your expertise and accuracy and develop further in a supportive and dynamic environment. If you have a passion for numbers and a precise way of working, this position is just right for you!
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for managing the financial accounting and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Execution and monitoring of accounts payable and receivable accounting including payment transactions and dunning
- Preparation and analysis of financial reports and support in budget planning
- You handle VAT returns and ensure that all tax requirements are met
- Support controlling in preparing cost accounting and financial analyses
- Preparation and support of audits and revisions
- Participation in projects to optimise financial processes and implement new accounting systems
Qualifications:
- You have completed commercial training, ideally with further education in finance and accounting
- Several years of professional experience in financial accounting, preferably in a similar environment
- Sound knowledge of accounting and tax regulations as well as confident use of accounting software
- You are characterised by a precise and independent way of working and have a strong numerical understanding
- Strong analytical and organisational skills as well as a high level of attention to detail
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form are required; English skills are an advantage
