Role:
We are a successful industrial company seeking an experienced Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to strengthen our finance team. Our company values quality, innovation, and excellence in all areas of our work.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the company’s accounting operations and processes
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB
- Creation of financial reports and analyses for management
- Ensuring compliance with all tax and legal regulations
- Monitoring accounts payable and receivable
- Handling payment transactions and liquidity management
- Point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in finance, accounting, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally in a similar position
- Excellent knowledge of German tax and commercial law as well as experience with HGB and IFRS
- Confident use of common accounting systems and MS Office, especially Excel
- Analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
