Junior Software Packaging Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You are interested in Windows technologies and want to specialise in software packaging and automated software distribution? In this position, you will learn from experienced professionals how to professionally package, test, and deploy applications for corporate use.
With growing experience, you will deepen your knowledge in PowerShell, MSI technologies, and modern packaging solutions. At the same time, you will communicate with customers and support the implementation of technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
Familiarisation with software packaging and application deployment on Windows
Creation and adaptation of software packages using technologies such as MSI, MSIX, and App-V
Automation of installation and setup processes with PowerShell and scripts
Participation in repackaging, configuration, and quality assurance of applications
Learning and applying software distribution solutions such as SCCM, Intune, or comparable tools
Technical support for customers as well as occasional assignments on site in Switzerland, Germany, and Austria
Qualifications:
Completed IT training or relevant IT further education and courses
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
Interest in software packaging, software distribution, and automation
Motivation to build PowerShell skills and learn new technologies
Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented working style with enjoyment of customer contact
Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
