Responsibilities:
Preparation and follow-up of customer quotations including price and condition calculations.
Coordination of order approvals with production planning and warehouse.
Handling of international shipments via air, sea and land transport.
Checking and preparing export and shipping documents as well as commercial invoices.
Monitoring open orders and international payment securities.
Coordination with banks, freight forwarders and official institutions.
Organisation of product samples and handling of corresponding customer enquiries.
Monitoring outstanding customer responses and open payments.
Qualifications:
Completed commercial apprenticeship, ideally supplemented by further training in foreign trade.
Professional experience in export processing of a manufacturing company.
Sound knowledge of international order processing.
Confident handling of SAP SD and common MS Office applications.
Knowledge of international delivery and payment terms.
Understanding of logistical processes and customs-relevant documentation.
Customer-oriented working style as well as reliable and independent approach.
Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form; additional languages are an advantage.
