Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining test systems and test data for various technical scenarios
Conducting system, software, and network tests as well as recording and evaluating the results
Creating automated tests with Python and further developing existing test solutions
Investigating errors and faults, performing root cause analyses, and documenting them comprehensively
Contributing to the improvement of test procedures, automation, and development processes
Qualifications:
Education or degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications or a similar technical field
Professional experience in software testing and knowledge of Python, C# and/or C++
Good knowledge of networks, routing, switching, IPv4/IPv6 and Linux
Experience with Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD and virtualisation
Understanding of software quality and testing methods as well as an independent, careful, and analytical working style
