Complex infrastructures need people who delve deeply and do not stop at symptoms. This is exactly where the work as Senior Systems Engineer Microsoft 365 begins. You shape the further development of Microsoft-based server environments, Microsoft 365 (M365) and Identity & Access Management. In tricky cases, you are the final technical authority. Your knowledge flows directly into architecture, automation and security requirements.
Responsibilities:
You keep the operational business stable and resolve demanding incidents at 3rd level down to the root cause.
You independently plan migrations and changes, check impacts and accompany the controlled introduction through to completion.
Furthermore, you drive the modernisation of existing systems and evaluate new technologies for benefits and risks.
You lead technical work packages in projects from conception through testing to handover to operations.
Additionally, you maintain solution concepts, architecture overviews and decision bases.
You also help shape operating models, lifecycle topics and internal standards.
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT apprenticeship EFZ or have an equivalent background.
Many years of experience in the enterprise environment shape you, a large part of it in a technically leading engineering role.
Your strengths lie in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware as well as Entra ID, ADFS and DNS.
You standardise recurring processes with PowerShell and work routinely with update management and monitoring solutions.
Furthermore, you think security-conscious, orientate yourself on ITIL and use an ITSM tool in daily work.
In addition, you explain technical contexts understandably, have excellent German, understand dialect and use English fluently both spoken and written.
