Role:
Stable systems, automated processes, and demanding IT environments: here ICT is not only operated but actively further developed.
We are looking for a technically skilled individual who enjoys reliably operating complex system landscapes while continuously improving them. The focus is on Windows infrastructures, application operation, automation, and modern deployment processes.
Responsibilities:
Operation and continuous further development of demanding ICT platforms and business applications
Support of complex Windows and Windows Server environments
Administration of virtualised system landscapes and central infrastructure components
Planning and implementation of software installations, updates, and technical changes
Automation of recurring operational tasks with PowerShell
Optimisation of deployment and release processes
Coordination of technical releases together with software development, application managers, and external partners
Planning and supervision of defined maintenance and release windows
Analysis and sustainable resolution of demanding incidents in 2nd and 3rd level support
Monitoring system stability, availability, and performance
Analysis of error patterns and development of sustainable solutions
Further development of operational standards and technical processes
Creation and maintenance of high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and operating instructions
Participation in the automation and standardisation of ICT processes
Qualifications:
Education or advanced vocational training in computer science
Several years of practical experience in operating complex ICT systems or business applications
Very good knowledge of Windows and Windows Server
Experience with PowerShell and automation of administrative tasks
Understanding of virtualisation and modern system architectures
Experience with software distribution, deployment, and release management
Good knowledge of IT service management processes, ideally ITIL
Experience with incident, change, and problem management
Interest in modern automation and deployment concepts
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Strong service orientation and enjoyment of technically demanding tasks
Ability to document and communicate complex technical matters clearly
