Payroll Specialist / Payroll Accountant

Our client is an internationally leading, rapidly growing technology and industrial company in the Biel region. For the well-established HR team, we are looking for a numbers-savvy and motivated individual.

We are seeking a Specialist HR Payroll & Administration (m/f/d, 100%) in an international environment.

Your Tasks

• Payroll: Independent handling of payroll for several hundred employees

• Year-end closing: Preparation of all year-end declarations and settlements with social security

• Employee Lifecycle: Responsibility for onboarding and offboarding processes as well as absence management

• Consulting & Support: Competent point of contact for employees, line managers, and authorities on HR and salary matters

• Finance Interface: Coordination of HR-relevant financial accounts and preparation of HR statistics and reports

• Projects: Active participation in the optimisation of HR processes and system landscapes

• Education: Commercial basic training with successfully completed further training in HR or payroll (e.g. HR specialist certificate or payroll specialist)

• Professional Experience: Several years of solid practice in salary administration for medium to large workforces

• IT Skills: Proficient use of SAP HCM and common MS Office applications

• Language Skills: Fluent German and good English skills for internal group communication

• Personality: Structured, precise, and service-oriented working style with a strong affinity for numbers
