For an international company in the MedTech sector, we are looking for a Supply Chain Assistant to join the team based in Lausanne.
Logistics Assistant
In close collaboration with the Supply Chain and Purchasing team, you will gradually take charge of various operational activities and contribute to the smooth running of the supply chain.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and monitor purchase orders, from their creation to delivery.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, including transport organisation and associated documentation.
- Organise the delivery of equipment and materials to partners in Switzerland and internationally.
- Track order confirmations, delivery times, quantities and ongoing orders.
- Enter and update information related to purchasing, logistics and stock in the company’s ERP.
- Participate in goods receipt, stock management and stock reconciliations.
- Ensure the accuracy and updating of documentation as well as traceability of Supply Chain operations.
- Monitor delays, discrepancies or delivery issues and coordinate their resolution with the relevant contacts.
- Maintain daily contact with suppliers, logistics providers and internal teams.
- Contribute to the improvement and standardisation of operational Supply Chain processes.
Your profile
- Commercial, technical or professional training; additional training in Supply Chain, Logistics or Purchasing is an asset.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Procurement or a similar operational environment.
- Practical experience using an ERP, especially for managing purchase orders, stock or logistics operations.
- Experience with SAGE X3 is an advantage but not essential.
- French and English at B2 level minimum.
- Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive, reliable and hands-on mindset.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Experience in the MedTech, medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnological, industrial sectors or regulated environments is an asset.
- Ability to work independently while appreciating teamwork in an international environment.
