Custodial Officer (Printing & Bookbinding) 100%

Exciting tasks await:

• General supervision, care and control duties in the security service of the penal institution
• Supervision and care of inmates working in the workshops
• You always act impartially and consistently implement legal requirements, internal instructions and safety regulations. Through your professional conduct, you make a significant contribution to the safety of the public, staff and inmates
• You work three weeks per month during regular hours and one week with irregular hours including 2 to 3 night shifts and one weekend shift

What you bring:

• Completed vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) in the printing trade or print finishing
• Additional qualification as a specialist in custodial services with a federal certificate or willingness to complete the training
• Reliable, independent working style, teamwork skills, high social competence and emotional stability
• Understanding and tolerance in dealing with people of different backgrounds, oral knowledge of a foreign language is an advantage
• Minimum age: 28 years, impeccable character (current criminal and debt register extract)

Your working environment

At the Lenzburg Correctional Facility , persons sentenced to imprisonment or custodial measures are cared for. The facility offers 380 places for closed enforcement, remand custody and short sentences.
