Specialist Order Management Export & National (m/f/d)

Role:
In this role, you will take full responsibility for handling export orders – from order entry through deadline monitoring to delivery. You are responsible for creating and checking all relevant export and customs documents and ensuring that all legal and customer-specific requirements are met. You will work closely with freight forwarders, logistics service providers, and internal interfaces to ensure smooth shipping processes. Additionally, you will analyse existing processes, identify optimisation potentials, and actively contribute to an efficient export organisation. Through your structured and solution-oriented working style, you ensure that customers receive their goods on time and in perfect quality.
Responsibilities:
You manage international customer orders from quotation to on-time delivery
You coordinate product availability, preparation, and shipping with production, logistics, and freight forwarders
You prepare export, customs, and shipping documents and obtain necessary permits and certifications
You communicate with subsidiaries, sales partners, freight forwarders, and end customers in German and English
You maintain price lists as well as customer and price data in the ERP system
You support export controls, courier and parcel shipments, and process improvements
Qualifications:
Commercial training with further education as an export clerk or foreign trade specialist
Several years of experience in international order processing
Good knowledge of export, customs, and shipping processes
Confident use of MS Office and ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365
Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
