Team Leader Procurement and Production Planning (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to combine your experience in purchasing and production planning with leadership responsibility? In this versatile role, you will coordinate important procurement and manufacturing processes and support your team in daily operations. You will combine operational tasks with the development of supplier relationships and economical material planning.
Responsibilities:
You will take on the professional supervision of three employees and support their development.
You ensure reliable material procurement and keep an eye on product availability, inventory, and costs.
You coordinate manufacturing orders and production processes and ensure timely processing.
You maintain business relationships with suppliers, review their performance, and purposefully develop the collaboration.
You negotiate purchase prices, contracts, and conditions, ensuring economical agreements.
You work closely with production and other departments and coordinate important alignments.
You are predominantly active in operational daily business while simultaneously taking on coordinating and professional responsibility.
You monitor material requirements, delivery dates, and quality standards to ensure smooth processes.
Qualifications:
You have completed a technical apprenticeship and have several years of experience in purchasing, material procurement, or production planning and scheduling.
Ideally, you have completed further training in procurement or production planning.
You have fluent German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written.
You are familiar with SAP and MS Office and work confidently with common IT applications.
You possess good technical understanding and are familiar with industrial materials and products.
You bring experience in staff management and can coordinate tasks within a team.
You impress with initiative, organisational talent, a structured working method, as well as a pronounced cost and quality awareness, and you like to get involved in daily business yourself.
