Role:
In this role, as a Security/DevOps Engineer, you design secure and stable platforms and ensure that infrastructure, applications, and processes are continuously protected and optimised. You are responsible for building and further developing security mechanisms throughout the entire software lifecycle and ensure that automation and security go hand in hand. You analyse existing systems, identify vulnerabilities, and implement targeted improvements. Additionally, you support development teams with your expertise in security and DevOps matters, significantly contributing to reliable and resilient solutions.
Responsibilities:
Building and further developing automated CI/CD and deployment processes for business-critical software solutions.
Integrating security into the entire development process – from dependency and code scans to container and access security.
Securing cloud, Linux, and container environments as well as technical interfaces between IT and OT.
Monitoring platforms, analysing vulnerabilities, and supporting the handling of security incidents.
Collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to implement secure software and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Degree in computer science, cyber security, or comparable education; initial professional experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or IT security is an advantage.
Knowledge of Java/Spring Boot, Linux, relational databases, and container technologies.
Initial experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker/Kubernetes, and automation; Jenkins, SonarQube, or comparable tools are a plus.
Interest in secure coding, IAM, vulnerability management, and IT/OT security.
Analytical and solution-oriented working style, enjoyment of agile teamwork, as well as good German and English skills.
