As part of the development of our client’s activities, a recognised player in the high-precision sector, we are looking for a Setter / CNC Milling Operator for a 2x8 shift position within a modern, demanding, and quality-oriented industrial environment.
Setter / CNC Milling Operator
Your tasks
- Ensure the setting and start-up of 3 to 5-axis CNC machining centres.
- Load programmes and make necessary corrections during production.
- Launch and monitor production series in accordance with quality and productivity objectives.
- Perform tool changes and ensure their monitoring.
- Carry out dimensional and visual checks using conventional measuring instruments.
- Guarantee the conformity of produced parts according to plans and manufacturing processes.
- Complete production tracking and traceability documents.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Perform first-level maintenance of equipment.
- Strictly comply with quality, safety, and environmental instructions.
Profile sought
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a polymechanic, production mechanic, micromechanic or equivalent training.
- Proven experience in setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Mastery of reading technical plans and control tools.
- Good knowledge of machining processes and cutting parameters.
- Experience in the watchmaking, medical, or precision mechanics fields is an asset.
- Autonomous, rigorous, and quality-oriented person.
- Team spirit and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work night shifts.
