Team Leader / Team Leader Financial Accounting (temporary)

Would you like to contribute your expertise temporarily where it is truly needed? In this responsible interim role, you will take on a key position in financial accounting!

Our client is an established organisation with modern infrastructure and clear processes in the idyllic Bernese Oberland. You will benefit from a collegial working environment, short decision-making paths, and close collaboration with the finance management. For the temporary bridging, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an experienced individual as Team Leader Financial Accounting 80-100%. The assignment is planned for around eight months, with the possibility of further engagement to be evaluated. 

Your tasks with the new employer:

• You will take on the professional responsibility for financial accounting and, with suitable experience, also lead the team personnel-wise
• You will independently prepare quarterly and annual financial statements according to OR as well as the consolidated financial statements
• Responsibility for VAT, taxes, audits, as well as accounts receivable, accounts payable, asset and general ledger accounting will be part of your duties
• You will prepare reports, analyses, forecasts, as well as budgeting and liquidity planning as sound decision-making bases for the CFO
• You will further develop processes, guidelines and ERP applications and participate in digitalisation and automation projects

You offer your new employer:

• A completed education in finance and accounting or a comparable further qualification forms your professional foundation
• You bring certainty in financial statement preparation according to OR and several years of experience in financial accounting
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage and will facilitate your start
• Independent working, a structured approach and a high sense of responsibility characterise you
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form are mandatory for this role
