IT System Engineer (m/f/d)
Role:
As a System Engineer, you are the first point of contact for system administrators and end users with technical concerns. You ensure that clients, servers and networks run smoothly and intervene as soon as something goes wrong. Your work combines solid technology with direct contact with people who rely on your support. You bring your experience and continuously develop the infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
You provide support for system administrators and end users, both internal and external
Installation, configuration and maintenance of clients, servers, networks and firewalls are part of your daily routine
You analyse hardware and software problems and find quick solutions
Monitoring and operation of the network environment are your responsibility to ensure smooth operation
You implement and continuously maintain IT security measures
Additionally, you manage the ticketing system and work closely with your team on the further development of the IT infrastructure
Qualifications:
You have completed training as a certified system technician or an equivalent qualification
Several years of experience in the described area of responsibility distinguish you
You have a precise, structured and efficient way of working
Service orientation and enjoyment of contact with people characterise your working style
Teamwork, reliability and a hands-on mentality complete your profile
You have native-level German skills and good English knowledge
