Junior System Engineer - Industrial IT (m/f/d)

Role:
Do you want to manage IT systems that must function reliably and securely in demanding industrial environments? In this position, you combine classic system technology with networks and cybersecurity. You accompany technical solutions from planning through commissioning to ongoing operation and develop your know-how step by step.
You can expect a versatile environment with short decision-making paths, direct collaboration and room to contribute your own ideas.
Responsibilities:
You participate in the planning, setup and support of industrial IT infrastructures used in demanding technical plants.
You assist in building secure networks and implementing cybersecurity measures.
You monitor system operations, analyse faults and help to resolve technical problems sustainably.
You manage servers, virtualised environments as well as solutions for data backup and system monitoring.
You further develop internal IT services, document technical processes and evaluate new tools and technologies for their benefits.
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, automation technician EFZ or a comparable technical basic education.
You are already undertaking a part-time further education at HF or FH level in the field of computer science or plan to start one.
You bring initial knowledge in system technology, networks or IT security.
Ideally, you have already worked with Windows Server, virtualisation solutions such as VMware, Hyper-V or Proxmox or monitoring tools.
You work reliably and independently, enjoy learning and have good German skills; French is a plus.
