Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You move confidently in modern cloud landscapes and design infrastructures with infrastructure-as-code, container technologies, and multi-cloud approaches. In this senior position, you are responsible for cloud-native environments across various hyperscalers - with a focus on Azure - while also supporting the in-house data centre infrastructure. You contribute your know-how in 2nd and 3rd level support, drive automation forward, and take responsibility during patch days and on-call duty. You combine solid system engineering with modern cloud thinking and ensure stable, secure, and scalable infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
You develop and operate infrastructures with infrastructure-as-code and automate deployment processes
You are responsible for cloud-native areas including container technologies (e.g. Azure AKS, Google GKE/Autopilot, AWS EKS/Fargate)
You support customer support in 2nd and 3rd level and solve complex technical challenges
You maintain and further develop the in-house data centre infrastructure
Additionally, you take on on-call duties for patch days or weekends and perform on-call service
Qualifications:
You have solid knowledge in system engineering and networking
You are familiar with cloud infrastructures from hyperscalers, especially Microsoft Azure, as well as M365, modern workplace, and client automation
You have experience with Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365, Azure Virtual Machines, and Windows Server
You bring know-how in firewall and security
Ideally, you have experience with infrastructure-as-code and container technologies; knowledge of terminal server solutions (Remote Desktop, Citrix), other hyperscalers (AWS, GCP), Hyper-V, or Linux servers is a plus
You work in a structured and solution-oriented manner and are ready for assignments outside regular working hours
