Economist Specialising in Business Analysis (70 to 80%)
Your tasks
You will carry out business analyses from the employees’ perspective, which will serve as a basis notably for wage negotiations and collective labour agreements, as well as consultation procedures in the event of collective redundancies. You will also advise and support your colleagues on site during consultation procedures related to collective redundancies. You will also conduct sector-specific and economic policy analyses. You will present the results of your analyses and lead training sessions on topics related to business management and economic policy.
Your background
- University degree in economics (business management or political economy) or an equivalent field
- Experience in analysing annual reports and other company-related information, as well as in assessing the economic situation and strategies of companies
- Proven skills in developing foundations and communicating content to different target groups
- Fluency in French or German, both spoken and written, and very good knowledge of the other language
- Analytical and rigorous mindset
- High degree of autonomy, strong initiative, team spirit, service-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Sensitivity to trade union policy, identification with Unia’s values
